Christie’s will offer a range of colored diamonds as the top lots of its upcoming Geneva sale, including a collection of 300 unmounted colored diamonds.
Those stones will join the Mellon Blue diamond ring in the top 10. The auction house expects it to fetch up to $30 million at the November 11 Magnificent Jewels sale. The piece contains a modified pear brilliant-cut, 9.51-carat, fancy-vivid-blue, internally flawless diamond.
The sale will also include exceptional jewels from Bulgari, JAR, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Ronald Abram.

This brooch sports a cushion-shaped, 65.46-carat, royal-blue Burmese sapphire surrounded by nine round brilliant-cut diamonds weighing between 1.60 and 2.12 carats. It has an upper estimate of CHF 3 million ($3.8 million).A JAR ring featuring a pear modified brilliant-cut, 8.68-carat, fancy-purplish-pink, VVS1-clarity diamond in a sapphire and diamond surround carries a high price of CHF 3 million ($3.8 million).This rainbow collection of 300 unmounted diamonds weighing 0.24 to 4.89 carats in colors including yellow, orange, blue, pink, red, brown and grey will go under the hammer for a top price of CHF 2.4 million ($3 million).A pair of Fred earrings with pear brilliant-cut diamonds of 10.69 and 10.23 carats diamonds, suspended from pear diamonds weighing between 2.39 and 5.05 carats, will go on the auction block for as much as CHF 2.4 million ($3 million).This Ronald Abram necklace will be on offer for up to CHF 2 million ($2.5 million). It sports a heart brilliant-cut, 36.20-carat, D, VVS1, type IIa diamond with the potential to be internally flawless and round diamonds along the chain.A diamond brooch featuring pear brilliant-cut, D-color diamonds weighing between 2.38 to 8.69 carats and of internally flawless to VS2 clarity has a top price of CHF 2 million ($2.5 million).This Cartier set comprising the Nepal Emeralds necklace and tiara has a high estimate of CHF 2 million ($2.5 million). The necklace contains 13 Colombian emerald cabochon drops weighing between 11.38 to 57.82 carats, while the tiara carries a square-shaped, 11.76-carat emerald. Both pieces include additional round diamonds.A pendant bearing a cushion-shaped, 100.40-carat, fancy-intense-yellow, SI2 diamond within a border of round sapphires is set to sell for up to CHF 1.8 million ($2.3 million). Christie’s is offering this circa 1880 star-shaped brooch, which can also be worn as a pendant, for CHF 1.6 million ($2 million). It features an oval-shaped, 10.07-carat Burmese ruby amid old- and rose-cut diamonds.
