Suffice to say, MLB fans are annoyed about the Los Angeles Dodgers landing superstar pitcher Tarik Skubal ahead of the trade deadline.
Like, “fly a banner about it over Wrigley Field” levels of annoyed:
The Dodgers have earned the ire of MLB fans on a number of fronts, from deferred contracts to loading up on stars in free agency via a massive payroll and through trades given a stacked farm system.
Granted, most fans would love if it was their team doing everything they could to stack championships. It’s hard to blame the Dodgers for using their resources. But fans outside of L.A. are plenty annoyed about it.
