ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Verizon confirmed “multiple fiber cuts” were to blame for a service outage Wednesday in New Mexico, including Albuquerque.
Information from Verizon showed “Data, voice, text and wireless home internet are limited in this area” when searching multiple numbers using Albuquerque locations. The disruption began Wednesday at 11:13 a.m.
Verizon said service was restored by 4 p.m.

“Multiple fiber cuts caused a service interruption for some wireless customers in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area earlier today. Engineers were able to resolve the issue and service was fully restored by 3:55 PM MT. We know how much people rely on Verizon and apologize for any inconvenience.”
